PRICING FAQ
Real questions, real answers.
What's actually included in the price?+
Labor, the truck, dump fees, donation runs, and a sweep at the end. The price you see is the price you pay. The only add-on is hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, asbestos) which require special handling — we'll quote those separately and only if you have them.
Do you charge by weight or by volume?+
By volume — how much space your junk takes up in our trailer. This is fairer than weight-based pricing because you're not penalized for old appliances or sturdy furniture. We give you the price upfront before we start hauling.
What if I have more junk than I thought?+
We'll tell you on-site if your job is bigger than the tier you booked, and you can decide right then to upgrade or stick with what you've got and we'll grab the rest next trip. No pressure, no surprise charges.
Do you take freon appliances or hazardous stuff?+
Refrigerators, freezers, and AC units — yes, but there's a small recycling fee ($25-50) because we have to drain them at a certified facility. Paint, motor oil, batteries, asbestos — we'll point you to the right Franklin County drop-off but we can't transport those.
Is there a minimum?+
Yes — $99 for a single-item pickup, or $199 for our Snack Bite tier. Below that it doesn't make sense for us to drive out. If you've got a tiny job, ask us when you call — sometimes we can fold it into a bigger nearby job at a discount.
Do you give discounts to landlords or realtors?+
Yes. If you're booking 2+ jobs a month, we'll set you up with a volume rate. Email bookings@thegaragegator.com and we'll talk.
